Position Summary: Penske Logistics is looking for a Receiving Clerk to become part of an excellent team. Associates under this job title generally work checking in trailer loads of product received from vendors and/or backhauls. Once the goods are unloaded, the clerk verifies case counts and notes deficiencies against receiving paperwork. Why is Penske Logistics for you? Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend daily pre-shift meetings
• Proceed to assigned area (conveyor office)
• Check product as received on conveyor
• Scan unit into system
• Report damaged/suspicious units to supervisor for disposition
• Work with inventory control to properly identify QC units.
• Complete receiving paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
• Complete warehouse counts All other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: - 1 year of general office experience required - 1 year of customer service experience preferred - Ability to communicate effectively - Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules - Read, write, understand and speak English - Ability to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting. - Must have knowledge of computers and ability to learn WMS and various internal applications - Must use handheld computers / scanners - Operate various material handling equipment, occasionally moving product in warehouse - Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job - Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
