Job DetailsDivision: Nucor Rebar Fabrication MidwestLocation: Fort Wayne, IN, United StatesOther Available Locations: N/AShort DescriptionThis is a non-remote, in-office position located in Fort Wayne, IN. Lead the Accounts Payable department functions while advising teammates and ensuring performance standards are being met.Basic Job Functions:Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication's safety programs and standards.Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication's vision and values.Oversee the productivity and quality of department work ensuring timeliness of payments, accuracy, and efficiency.Provide feedback during the performance appraisal process and recommend appropriate pay adjustments for department.Assist with the recruitment, hiring, orientation and training of new department teammates.Proactively assists in training and coordination of duties for department.Collaborate with other departments and regions to support business objectives.Provide back up and support to cover other teammates as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by management.#LI_DNI#INDJOBSSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:Associate's degree in AccountingAt least 2 or more years accounts payable and/or accounting experience in the construction industryPreferred Qualifications:Two or more years' experience leading teams.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Experience interfacing with vendors and providing world class customer service.Intermediate computer skills required in Microsoft office products.Nucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - M/F/Disabled/Vets - and a drug - free workplace
