Description:Sharetec is looking for a Core Services Specialist
to join our team!

As a key member of our Professional Services Implementation team,
the Core Services Specialist will be assigned to a variety of
multiple concurrent projects. Responsibilities include working
directly with credit union clients, third party vendors and other
Sharetec employees. A Core Services Specialist needs to be able to
perform assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines. The Core
Services Specialist is a position in which guidelines, structure,
and established policies must be followed closely, while working
with and for others.
This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid-remote position that can be
located at one of our office sites in Ft. Wayne, IN, Canfield, OH,
or Waco, TX. For the right candidate, fully remote work is also an
option. We can only consider remote employees who reside in one of
the states listed below. The role involves an expected travel
commitment of approximately 50%. The starting salary for this
position is $60,000 - $65,000.
Essential duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop an understanding for project issues and practical
issues faced in the implementation of a new core system.
- Throughout the project, develop expertise to answer questions
and guide the client in the use of the system.
- Follow installation standards, project plans, and related
documentation to ensure a high level of success during the
implementation process
- Under general supervision, analyze and determine business
requirements and provide detailed specifications to
programming.
- Interpret client's existing systems and workflows through and
including the balancing of daily files.
- Verify setups and changes made to ensure they meet the customer
requirements.
- Build, convert, troubleshoot and validate data import into the
Sharetec software from various sources.
- Develop skill set to provide training to the client before,
during and after changes, including the correct use of the Sharetec
system and on-line terminal assistance
- Communicate progress and any potential problems to Project
Manager and/or Core Services Manager or Director of Software
Services awareness and/or resolution.
- Work closely with Credit Union staff, third party vendors and
internal resource groups to optimize and enhance our project
process
- Use independent judgment to make decisions based on precedents
and established guidelines.
- Solve problems using standard procedures and precedents
- Acts as an onsite resource during conversion and answers
questions, trouble shoots problems as they occur, supports
implementation of new procedures, conducts last minute training if
necessary and provides support during conversion week.
- Develop skill set to provide training for new employees,
advanced training classes, and webinars.
- Participate in post-project review of success and be able to
adjust future deliverables based on past projects. Leverage lessons
learned regarding client implementation experiences to assist in
developing and refining implementation processes and
documentation.
- Continuously help design, improve, document and maintain
project processes
- Assist other departments with trouble-shooting, testing and
training of system functionality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager or
Implementation ManagerGeneral Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned tasks by project due dates.
- Be cross-trained in the areas of accounting, teller, lending,
online services, and data in order to tag team with fellow
specialists to deliver a successful project.
- Conduct onsite and virtual learning experiences to familiarize
new clients with the Sharetec product suite.
- Work together with the client to troubleshoot software related
needs that occur during go-live.
- Travel to client sites with teammates throughout the project
timeline.
- Work collaboratively with team members from across the Sharetec
platformQualified candidates should have:
- A desire to help teammates to ensure project success
- And Associates Degree or higher, or related work
experience
- A valid driver's license the ability to travel both
domestically and internationally, rent vehicles, and drive and/or
fly and drive to client sites is required
- 2+ years direct client functions in the financial services
industry is preferred
- Experience working with customer stakeholders to deliver
project requirements
- Experience juggling multiple tasks with varying due dates.
- Passion for creating high quality user experiences
- Ownership mentality and ability to handle projects through to
