Responsibilities:
--- Interface with clients and meetings.
--- Prepare legal documents such as motions, pleadings, memorandums, and correspondence for criminal cases.
--- Manage all stages of a criminal case, from investigation through trial and sentencing.
--- Demonstrate significant court experience in handling legal proceedings.
--- Stay educated by participating in local, state, and national legal conferences.
--- Effectively manage and meet case deadlines to ensure successful outcomes.
--- Analyze, collaborate, and implement trial strategies to achieve client objectives.

Qualifications:
--- Experienced in all aspects of criminal law, including adult and juvenile cases, felony and misdemeanor charges, and pre-charge negotiation.
--- Skilled in bond, risk assessment, mitigation, case strategy, motion practice, thorough discovery, trial proceedings, and sentencing advocacy.
--- Required to attend Court appearances in Michigan.
--- Admission to the Michigan State Bar is a must.
--- Must be tech-friendly or willing to learn new technologies.
--- Effective and clear communication skills are essential.
--- Ability to track and meet minimum billable requirements.
--- Excellent and creative writing skills are necessary.
--- Strong belief in the Constitution and a commitment to advocating for clients daily.
