We have a newly renovated Memory Care unit at Sylvania, a newly renovated skilled wing at Sylvania is under new management.*We are looking for PRN Speech Therapists* to ensure that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of rehabilitation. You will lead, guide, and direct the delivery of Speech Therapy within our buildings in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents. This position will require travel within 15 minutes of your home building.*Divine at Toledo are seeking to hire PRN Speech-Language Pathologists*Job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Evaluate, treat, and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Provide training and education to family, caregivers, and other professionals.Work collaboratively with professionals from all other disciplines in the SNF setting.Appropriately and effectively complete documentation.Screen residents and individuals who may benefit from therapy.Communicate patient status and needs effectively to the patients, family, caregivers, or other members involved with patient care.Expand and enhance self, in both clinical and professional knowledge through associations and continuing education.Provide in-service training sessions or other educational presentations to members of the interdisciplinary team as needed.Support and participate in departmental operations and meetings.*Requirements: *Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Ability to communicate with patients, families, supervisors and colleagues effectively and professionally.Comfortable with computers and computer software.CPR Certification (Preferred)*Preferred experience working at a SNF, but we are open to other practice area experience.
