*Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)**Full Time and Part Time**All Shifts: Day, 6a-6p**Direct Hire**Location: Sylvania, OH**Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including home care and medical-surgical environments. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of patients by utilizing your clinical skills and knowledge of physiology.*Duties** Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.* Assist with IV infusion therapy and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.* Provide care for patients with diverse needs, including those requiring ventilatory support or specialized medical-surgical care.* Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.* Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and home care practices.* Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems such as Cerner.* Support pediatric patients by applying experience working with children in a clinical setting.*Experience** Proven experience in home care or medical-surgical nursing is preferred.* Knowledge of physiology and the ability to apply this knowledge in practical situations is essential.* Familiarity with aseptic technique and IV infusion procedures is highly desirable.* Experience working with children is a plus, enhancing your ability to provide compassionate care tailored to younger patients.* Strong communication skills and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality are required.Join our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our patients through exceptional nursing care!Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hourExpected hours: 36 per weekBenefits:* Health insuranceMedical Specialty:* GeriatricsPhysical Setting:* Long term careWork Location: In personby Jobble
