Job Description:
A company is looking for a Counsel specializing in Reimbursement
and Coding.
Key Responsibilities
Support risk adjustment activities and coding team operations
Provide guidance on billing and payment within the revenue cycle
organization
Collaborate with company leaders to ensure compliance with laws and
regulations
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctorate with licensing in at least one state
At least 3 years of experience in health law at a law firm or
in-house health care organization
Experience in Medicare or similar regulatory work
Demonstrated knowledge of Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage
(preferred)
Demonstrated knowledge of health care provider operations
(preferred)
