Our client, Parkview Health, has an immediate need for a Learning
Management System (LMS) Support Assistant at their Business and
Technology Center, in Ft Wayne, IN, location. This staff member
will work Monday -Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with no weekends required
and business casual dress code. Training will be onsite in Fort
Wayne for the first couple of weeks and then the position will be
mostly remote. Facility is looking for a 9-to-12-month assignment.
Anyone with a felony conviction is ineligible for this position.
Drug, criminal, health immunization tests and references will be
required of the successful candidate. Candidates with poor computer
skills, non-motivation or attendance issues need not apply.
General job duties, responsibilities, expectations:
Responsible for:
Provides detailed data entry and technical assistance as requested
by the LMS administrator. This includes roster entry, scheduling
classes, report generation, responding to co-worker emails,
password resets, as well as basic database maintenance. Must become
proficient with all aspects of the Learning Management System (LMS)
functionality.
Must have excellent written communication skills. Must have logic
and problem-solving skills.
Reports to LMS administrator any issues that are recognized.
Recommends any realized opportunities for improvement.
Appropriately prioritizes tasks to ensure completion within
required timeframes. Demonstrates ability to identify
inconsistencies and inaccuracies in documents and processes, and
make corrections as required. Demonstrates attention to detail in
applying skills and knowledge.
Demonstrates highly effective verbal and written communication
skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with
all individuals at all levels within and outside of the
organization.
Required skills and minimum years of experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
preferred.
1-2 years' experience preferred, but not required
Strong Customer Service and detailed oriented.
Strong MS Office background
